The women's Allround Tourism category variant from Völkl is represented by the Flair SC Carbon, which has proved to be comfortable and manoeuvrable while allowing for simple and easy cut turns: it is aimed at a beginner-level audience. This ski is "simple and manoeuvrable" (Isabel Anghilante), "easy in low-speed turns" (Elena Re). Its soft structure facilitates flexing in curves (Laura Jardi) even if it isn't completely homogeneous and progressive (Elena Re). This ski – which is designed for a Class-1 or -2 level – isn't totally satisfactory in large curves where difficulties appear, and if the speed increases, the ski begins to vibrate, undermining the user's safety. We therefore recommend this product – reviewed in size 163 cm – to skiers of Class 1 or 2 who don't really want to face too steep slopes or ice, but who are looking for a simple model allowing them to practise curves easily on multiple descents.
