Testers' Ratings

In the trend of powder-snow freeride boards, it has the right idea of keeping the narrowness of the waist to provide excellent vivacity, but without losing the "surfy" character desired by DC.

With this new board, DC is finally introducing a fun freeride to its range. The brand is thus part of the trend of surf shapes and places this model rather well against the competition. This HR is distinguished by a less-pronounced width at the waist than the majority of boards of this style. This gives it quickness in changing edges and more fluidity in manoeuvring through curves, especially in changing snow. Although its nose is visually imposing, it does not induce inertia and ensures easy floating. The lively tail leads to boosts and lightness. Thanks to a beautiful continuity in the flex from the nose to the tail, the board gives a feeling of ease and safety. This first surfy shape from DC is therefore a success, both playful and lively in powder snow, with good curves on the piste.
