Testers' Ratings

A reference Backcountry for flying high and riding solid, it absorbs the terrain with smooth and well-placed pressure. We also like its effective tail for linking turns.

In the extensive Burton line, every board has its place, for a whole spectrum of nuances. The Flight Attendant makes its mark as an excellent backcountry freeride board, and is as user-friendly as an all-mountain board. The support it gives along the whole length makes it a very centred ride, which really sets it apart from the Stun Gun, which is mainly navigated from the lively tail, or the Deep Thinker, which works on shorter radii. This is a board designed to let rip, with great support and enough punch to take on every terrain, but without ever relinquishing its comfort. In fact, it's even quite accessible given the engagement needed. It makes you want to continually step up the pace! Handling is mainly well centred with variety and controlled responsiveness in the tips. It performs great ollies and is very stable on landing.
